FAQ Question: What does a Workshop Host/Hostess Do at the Conference?
The Workshop Host/Hostess has a fairly easy job but they are very essential to our conference.
As attendees come in the door, you will scan name tags to make sure that they are registered for the
conference and are allowed to have access to workshops. You will also do a quick headcount, retrieve
a copy of the speaker's handout and then make a 2-3 minute introduction of the speaker from

our prepared script. You are then welcome to sit in on the workshop! After the workshop, you will
turn in your clipboard to our Workshop Coordinator.
