There are many cases that students stop going to school because of bullying. Bullying could actually create trauma to its victims. It could ruin the future of other kids even your kids. That’s why homeschooling is way better than going on a regular school set-up.

Parents Would Have More Time With Their Kids

Children that go to regular school set-up have more time with their friends than their parents that’s why they trust their friend more than their parents because they have build a good relationship towards each other. But if your kids are homeschooled, you will have more time with them. You could build a more intimate relationship with each other.

Focus On The Kid’s Weakness

Next is since you will be the teacher of your kid, you can close monitor his or her weaknesses and you can give more attention to that. You can help your children overcome his weaknesses. You can focus more on the subject that your kid is little slow to catch up. In school, not all teachers will give attention to their student as individual for improvement of the student.

Teach Them The Right Values That You Want Them To Learn

Next you need to teach them with the right values that you want them to be when they grow up. In school although values are also taught but it just stay inside the classroom once the students go out of that room they immediately forget it.

There are more benefits that your kids could enjoy from homeschooling. You just need to let them see the whole picture of it.

Home Schooling Benefits: Are They Enough To Convince You?

on January 16th, 2013 by Keagan

100 Home schooling benefitsHomeschooling benefits differ depending on what will work to the person. Some of us are products of homeschooling. We are homeschooled due to different reasons or circumstances. For some, it is an answered prayer to excel both in career and education. Celebs for instance prefer homeschooling than the usual set-up. This is because they have a very busy schedule. For some, this set-up didn’t work. Do you know somebody who studies at home? Inquire direct from that person. Let him tell you why home school and why not. Actually, there is nothing wrong in studying with all your home convenience. You hold your time. You can make your schedule more flexible. You can choose to prioritize both your studies and your career. But, decide if the benefits are really for you. Think many times before you say yes. Give yourself time to think. Give yourself the best reason why you should consider homeschooling. If it takes a toll on you to study at home, you can always enroll yourself in a formal school. Here, you have nothing to worry but to study. Everything will be provided by the school. Still, both are relevant to our needs. Both have benefits. But, are the benefits enough to convince you to choose this route of learning? You decide.

If you are in a home school environment, you need to be fully adjusted. You don’t have classmates. You can’t eat with friends or laugh with them. You don’t travel early in the morning. For those having a hard time waking up, home school is best. Why? You dictate your own schedule. The teacher will simply fit in to it as it is required in the program. Learn at home so you won’t waste time. Your teacher can explain to you through creative lessons. This time, you won’t be late. You don’t have to wake up early just to get ready. At home, feel like you came from somewhere else. You can still have your breaks like recess to reward yourself. When you are taught at home, you have the teacher’s attention. You will be more confident.

Homeschooling benefits include immediate access to the teacher. Isn’t it convincing to simply wait for your teacher to come and teach you? You can have a teacher who can teach you everything from the basic to the most complex subjects. The attention of the teacher will be in you. So, asking questions and clarifications will be addressed. You will not just finish a subject for the sake of passing. You can excel. Homeschooling is best for those who work and at the same time, passionate enough to finish their studies. No question in the curriculum since it is based on the needs of the learners. Projects can be done at home. Schedules are flexible so if you like to extend a little for you haven’t finish writing, you can ask for more time. But, there are students who become more abusive.

For parents, homeschooling is very good for children because they are protected throughout. They won’t be even exposed to the outside world wherein issues like drugs, smoking, abuses, and more are rampant.   However, how will kids learn to develop their capacities to interact with the real world if they are just at home their entire life? For many, going to school deeply enhance the person’s social and emotional sides. The formal school has everything to offer. Kids can even actively mingle, join activities, play with their peers, assume responsibilities, compete fairly, etc.

Homeschooling is always a good option. It has benefits yet the disadvantages can’t be ignored. Benefits include the flexibility in schedule, power to choose a teacher, enhance protection, etc. Are these enough to convince you to study at home?

Is Recess For Homeschooling Significant?

on November 27th, 2012 by Keagan

Many of us prefer homeschooling instead of enrolling to a formal school yet is recess for homeschooling significant? How will it be practiced? There are advantages and disadvantages in considering a home school. All of us need proper and quality education. It is through education that we can improve our lives. It is through it that we learn many skills and become famous. It is also through education that we can share what we have. But, some of us don’t want a formal set-up due to bullying, high expense, hassles, and even health dangers. If we need to feed ourselves with knowledge while on a formal school then how do we do it at home? It is a must to excel academically. But, choose whether you want to be part of the larger school or just study at home. Recess is one of the most awaited parts of students. This is the time wherein they can eat what they like to eat. Parents with little kids used to have mini food boxes. Inside are sandwiches, juices, candies, and other healthy snacks. Some prefer to buy food at the canteen. They even stay in order to eat comfortably, talk and have fun. But, if your home is also your school during the weekdays, then how will you fit in recess time? Is this thing still significant or not?

Is recess for a homeschooler still needed? The answer is simple. Its yes! No matter what type of school you belong, you are allowed to have your recess time. Here, you feed yourself with needed food. You give yourself time to relax especially if you find the lesson stressful. It is the best time to think of what will you do the whole day. Recess is not just a time to eat. You can even use it wisely. If you are studying with all your home convenience, consider different activities. Consider fun, simple and educational games such as puzzles, chess, guessing game, dominos, and more. You can play alone or with a companion. You can also try outdoor games or watch a short movie clip. Be creative. Plan how to use your time wisely. See also if you can write, draw or paint creatively.

Recess for homeschooling is extra significant. One can excel well in many ways. One learns to become more independent since he has no one to cling to. Homeschooling is totally different form usual. But, the goal of it is still the same with any formal school. That is to educate the person holistically. Aside from the comfort, the person becomes well-mannered, professional and determined. You should feel comfortable with your weight and aboid getting bullied.  You can look at getting weight loss support from community based sites. This set-up is actually preferred to people with physical impairments. Being physically challenged is not a hindrance in getting a good education. If a friend of yours has a specific physical impairment yet he is more than willing to study, home education is perfect. Just like in a formal center, one has the chance to have his recess. One can do anything. He has all the needed attention. The learner experiences less or zero hassles. Class schedules are made flexible to fit the needs of the learners. Everyday class is fruitful. Recess period can be used wisely.

Is recess for homeschooling significant? Yes, it is. It is in fact one of the best times. Just like in regular schools, home school teachers follow specific plans when handling classes. They teach a single lesson carefully and whole observing necessary protocols. They don’t tell their learners to never try a school outside. Thus, they show and want learners to experience what formal schools can offer. A short break shouldn’t be missed. A recess is not just a simple break because it matters to both learner and teacher.

A Few ReasonsWhy I Should Do Homeschooling

on October 17th, 2012 by Keagan

Why should I do homeschooling instead of going into a formal school? Are there advantages if I consider a teacher at home? Mentioned are some of the questions one can encounter when he tries to decide between home-school or the usual classroom setting. Yes, we need proper education. We need to feed ourselves with knowledge. We need to nurture those talents that we have and excel academically. But, how will you do it? The answer is simple. You need to get into a school or simply study from home.

Homeschooling is popular today since more and more children and even adults love the idea of learning from home. But, what are the prior reasons of those who prefer it? Do they have bad experiences in their previous schools before? Do they need to work harder thus they lack enough time to study in a formal school? Will they learn fast at home since they’ve got no classmates? The home-school program is a widespread today. Aside from the convenience, the person can excel professionally. He does not even need to struggle since he has no groups to cling to.

Home education is not the same as the usual. This is offered to those with physical impairments or difficulties yet are still like to study. This is even good for those who are too busy with work and other responsibilities. This program is even good for the special ones. The learner learns in a completely different setting. He has all the attention from the teacher. He gets all instruction. He can ask as many questions as he can without the need to think of others. For working parents, this program is good because it offers them more time with the kids. They themselves even become flexible with the schedule. Learners can develop respect. While at home, there will be less or even zero destructions. As observed, children who are enrolled by their parents in home-school programs excel in academics.  This is due to the amount of attention and individualized instruction given. Class schedules become more flexible since the teacher adjusts to consider the needs of the learner.

In a home-school, everyday is a fruitful day. The teacher can discuss everything that he likes to give without interruptions. However, what if the learner shows no interest for he sees no one but the teacher alone? This is why activities and other mind-awakening drills are given. Constant motivation is emphasized. If you learn from home, you give yourself more time to learn. You can engage into writing, research, painting, and more. But, you might lose the opportunity to gain new friends and socialize. If you simply study at home, you rarely experienced the happenings outside unless you teacher always shares to you what’s new outside.

For kids, an early social life in school can be bad. Bullying is rampant. There are really students who are damaged by their social life. Don’t be threatened for you won’t have to go through this. Home schools focus not only in the academic performance of the learner but on his values and character as well. If he does something bad, that would be settled instantly. Instead of thinking of what the others would say, he can immediately think of the solution, think of the ways on how to improve.

Now, if you ask me why should you do homeschooling? I’ll be proud to say that it will make me the best. I will say that it is more convenient. I will say that it is easier to discover oneself if you are in the most quiet place which is away from noise, bad people and irritations. Still, the purpose of such program is not only to educate but to correct the wrong habits.

The Best Benefits Of Choosing Home Schooling

on October 2nd, 2012 by Keagan

There are several home schooling benefits that you will surely enjoy. As a matter of fact, these advantages will both benefit you academically and even emotionally. Today, there are a lot of people who choose to do home school because of these benefits. While, it is true that there some families who do it because of their faith which may not be concord with some of the subjects being offered in school. There are other families that prefer this instead of school because it gives the parents a greater control over the education of their children. One particular thing they can be fully in control of is the teacher who would teach their kids. They will be the one to hire those teachers and so they can be sure that they get nothing but the best in order to make things easier for them and their kids.

Listed herewith are the other homeschooling benefits that you can surely get. To begin with, homeschooling can be among the simplest form of education. For one, you kids do not need to go outside because they can indeed study at home freely. They never have to deal with any socialization issue as well. More often than not kids have difficulty dealing with other kids in school and so when they would be doing homeschooling they never have to worry about anything like that anymore.

In addition, homeschooling has an interesting effect on socialization. Since most homeschooled children get their socialization through the select programs their parents place them in, they are often exposed to a much wider range of people than children only socialized in public school. One particular example of this is, many homeschooled children attend classes in music, dramatics or even art because they have a lot more time to pursue these interests. Indeed, they never have to deal with classes that they do not like because they have all the freedom to stick to what they want. Now, these classes will give the children more opportunities to get acquainted with a larger and more varied group of friends. Before you knew it, your kids are even more sociable than those who are in formal school.

The children who are being homeschooled with other children have their true classmates when it comes to the sense of learning because they are in the same level. You also need to bear in mind that this one is very different from traditional schools where students are put into classes according to their age, no matter where they stand academically. This is indeed a one on one set up that will surely work best in your kids. If they do have any question, they never have to be shy about it because they are just them and nothing more that they need to worry about.

This one on one attention class is way better than the packed classroom because children who are homeschooled also benefit from having more one-on-one attention as well. In a typical classroom where there are twenty-five to thirty students, it’s hard for the students to be given individual time if they should need it. Nevertheless, as your kids do home school, they have all the individual attention they ever need. They benefit from this by doing much better in class and exams because they have a chance to learn something fully and there is no else that they need to consider. There is no way you can ever deny the fact that this method of learning is among the most effective method you can ever think of. This can even assure your kids a better future that is waiting for them.

Home Schooling Benefits That Your Kids Will Enjoy

on September 19th, 2012 by Keagan

In many parts of the world, home schooling has been acceptable especially for parents who have concerns with local public and private schools. Home schooling has a lot of benefits that your children will enjoy. Studies also show that most children who are home-schooled are smarter compared to those who are going to local schools. Now here are some of the major benefits that children will enjoy from home schooling.

Free From Bullying

This is one of the major concerns of most students who are going to local schools. Your children will be prone to bullying. That’s why there are parents who prefer to have their kid home schooled because they don’t want their kids to experience the trauma of being bullied. Bullying is one of the biggest issues in most schools that up to now are still happening and teachers are really having a hard time dealing with this problem. That’s why if you don’t want your kid to experience the traumatic effect of bullying better have them home schooled. Your kid will not have a traumatic experience that could affect his or her life. Many children are really suffering from bullying and some of them don’t want to go back to school because of that. There are also students who have been diagnosed with some serious health problems because of what they have experienced.

Away From Peer Pressure & Bad Influence

Another benefit that your children could enjoy is they won’t experience peer pressure which is one of the reasons why most kids don’t do well in their studies. Peer pressure could also make a major effect to your kid’s life. Their friends could influence them with bad behavior like learning how to smoke, drink and even steal from stores. Of course no parent would want their kids to grow up like criminals. They might also join groups or gangs that can also be a bad influence to them. But if your kids are home schooled, you can monitor them 24/7 and be sure that they are taught with good morals and right conduct. You can also teach your children how to behave and have the right values.

Keeps Your Family Relationship Stronger

Based on a survey, most children who are going to a local school really don’t have good relationships with their parents because they only have limited time to talk and bond together, unlike for those children who are home schooled, parents have 24 hours to bond and talk to their children. You and your children will have a better and stronger relationship because you are together most of the time. Your kids will trust you more because they know that you are always there when you need them. You will be able to immediately address the concerns of your children if there are any.

More Efficient & Effective Learning Approach

In home schooling, parents could actually customize the education depending on the needs of the kid. You can simply create a teaching method that will meet the needs of your children. You can also focus on the subject where your kid is really having a hard time catching up with. You can help your children learn and overcome his or her weaknesses. You can also be assured that your kid is really taught with things that are essential to his needs. Your children can also focus on your discussion because there are no other students to disturb them. But one thing that you need to do is make sure that your kid will not get bored. Make them realize that home schooling and learning is fun and exciting. You can also help them develop their talents and skills.

Jump Start For Homeschooling

on August 12th, 2012 by Keagan

Home schooling: where to start and how to do it is not that difficult to achieve, but before you decide to go on homeschooling try to do some evaluation on your current situation. Evaluate or assess your current circumstances, you need to know on where to start by knowing where you stand as of the moment. Try to check the state laws about the home school regulation to avoid lawsuits in the future. If you are having the home school on the said state you need to follow the regulation even if you staying on that state temporarily. The moment that you know the laws about home school and the requirements needed go ahead accomplish it, and if the state has no requirements then you can start right away.

Knowing the laws about home schooling is just the first step, and the second part in home schooling: where to start and how to do it is on what curriculum or course that your child needs to take. You will not what subject you child will interested to take as of the moment by letting the child go a book store and let the child choose any book he or she likes. And that is the way to start on subject for your child. The interest of your child changes from time to time and this is one of the options to know what curriculum you need for your child. Home schooling: where to start is not that difficult if you know what your child needs and wanted to do.

And the moment that you have the materials for the said courses for you child, the next thing that you need to do is set arrangement in the house on where to study, you do not need an additional room for that. Your child could study also anywhere in the house. You also need to organize your child schedule of his subject. But just make sure that there only one place where all the child materials are located. So that, every time the child is done with his subject, he just put that on same area and it will not be scatter all over the house. In home schooling: where to start and who can help you? Is another question that need to be address, but there is always a helping hand around. You can check of the support group in your area and this can be done but checking it online.
